How long have you been running cross country?

“I ran cross country for a little while in middle school but picked it up more competitively in high school.”

What other sports do you play at FHC?

“I play hockey in the winter and run track in the spring.”

What is your best memory from your time running cross country?

“Helping the team move forward to the state finals meet last year.”

What are the strengths of this year’s team?

“We all run together as groups during races, which helps us gain competitive points.”

What are your individual goals for this season? 

“Break the 18-minute barrier like I was able to do last year.”

Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?

“For cross country, I would have to say our coaching staff because they run with us and set an example of grit.”

Do you have any superstitions associated with your meets?

“I don’t have any superstitions for cross country. I mostly just lace up and run as hard as I can.”

What is your favorite class this year and why?

“AP Calc. BC because it prepares me for engineering in college.”
