How long have you been running cross country?

“I’ve been running cross country since seventh grade.”

What other sports do you play at FHC?

“I run track and also do wrestling.”

What is your best memory from your time running cross country?

“Being able to hang out with my friends during and after meets.”

What are the strengths of this year’s team?

“Our biggest strength is Ben [Romero] because he’s really fast.”

What are your individual goals for this season? 

“My goals for this season are to run 16:40 and get conditioned for track.”

Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?

“One of my biggest influences is Coach Gus [Ryan Schipper] because he gives a lot of good advice.”

Do you have any superstitions associated with your meets?

“I don’t have any superstitions, but I know a lot of people on the team do.”

What is your favorite class this year and why?

“My favorite class is psychology because it’s easy.”
