How long have you been playing Basketball?

“I’ve been playing basketball since I was around eight through the YMCA and now through school. It’s always been a very enjoyable experience, and every season, I learn something new and love the community.”

What other sports do you play at FHC?

“In addition to basketball, I run cross country and track and field.”

What are your favorite memories from your time with the team?

“My best memories are spending time with my teammates. Last year, we did a themed practice where we each picked a color and dressed monochromatic; we just had a blast.”

What are the strengths of this year’s team?

“The strength of this year’s team is that we all are passionate about basketball and working hard.”

What are your goals for the season?

“My goals are to improve my free throw shooting and grow as a team.”

Who are the biggest influences in your athletic career?

“My parents are the biggest influence on my athletic career because they’re always encouraging and inspiring me to work my hardest.”

What are your game day superstitions?

 “Not particularly, but I wear braids for good luck on game day.”

Who is your favorite professional athlete?

“Sydney Mclaughlin-Levrone is my favorite professional athlete. She’s an Olympic hurdler and runs the 400-meter.”
