How long have you been playing basketball?
“I have been playing basketball since third grade so this is my ninth year playing.”
What other sports (if you play any) do you participate in at FHC?
“Other than basketball, I also run varsity track for FHC and sometimes I run cross country.”
What is the best memory of your time playing basketball?
“One of my favorite memories is hitting a half court shot at an AAU tournament a few years ago in a really competitive game.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“Some of the strengths of the girls varsity basketball team this year is that we have a lot of heart and we are very competitive which in my opinion is a great combination and can lead us to a successful season.”
What are your individual goals for this season?
“Some of my individual goals for this season are to continue to have a high three-point percentage while also increasing the volume of threes I shoot, along with continuing to work on rebounding more and continuing to have several assists per game.“
Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?
“One of my biggest influences in my athletic career is my dad because I get my competitiveness from him along with he’s always willing to push me to do better not just as an athlete, but also has a teammate.”
What music do you listen to to get fired up for games?
“Before games, I like to listen to a lot of Drake and Rihanna in order to get me ready.”
Do you have any superstitions associated with your games?
“I have lots of super odd superstitions, one of which is having a Pickle before every game. Also always listening to the same pregame playlist.”
