How many years have you been playing volleyball?

“This will be my fifth year playing volleyball. I started at Magnum Volleyball Club in South Carolina, then went on to play at Lake Murry Volleyball club. Since moving here, I have played for Michigan Volleyball Academy.”

What is your favorite memory of playing volleyball? 

“My favorite memory of playing volleyball was when my South Carolina school team won our conference championship. We beat the school rivals that had defeated us during the regular season.”

What are three fun facts about you?

“Three fun facts about me are: I play softball for Michigan Storm, I am a vegetarian, and I used to live in South Carolina.”

What is your favorite part of being on a team?

“My favorite part of being on the team is just getting the chance to improve myself as a volleyball player and an athlete. For me, volleyball is a great way to get involved with something during the softball off-season.”

Do you have a quote that inspires you?

“The quote that inspires me is, ‘How bad do you want it?’ This quote reminds me that if I want something,  I will have to work hard for it. It also reminds me that if I’m not passionate about something, I shouldn’t continue to do it.”

What’s something about you and your sport that no one else knows about? 

“Volleyball has helped me grow as an athlete and a person. Different experiences with different teammates and coaches have taught me different lessons.”

What is something you are most proud of?

“This year, I am most proud of how much I have improved my skills. I worked hard over the winter season last year to improve, and I feel like I have gotten much better, given the short time.”
