How long have you been playing soccer?
“I have been playing soccer for over 14 years now; I first started when I was three.”
Do you play any other sports at FHC?
“I play varsity golf and am also a captain of the varsity ski team.”
What are your favorite memories from your time playing soccer?
“My favorite memories from this program have been all of the fun conversations during late Sunday night practices, summer weightlifting and conditionings, and on the sidelines during games.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“This team has more chemistry than any sports team I have ever been a part of. While we aren’t as good on paper compared to other teams in the state or than other past FHC teams, our connection and kinship that we share is what has led us to being the number one ranked team in D2.”
What are your individual goals for the season?
“My individual goal is to bring 100% effort to every game and practice. Whether I play or not, if I can give my all to push myself and my starter teammates to be the best they can, then I have done my job.”
What is your favorite class this year and why?
“My favorite class this semester is probably yoga. It gives me a much-needed break from my mainly AP schedule, as well as prepares me mentally and physically for my athletics and my academics.”
Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?
“My biggest influences are definitely my coaches and teammates. They are the ones who are at every practice and game pushing me to be better, and I’m constantly learning from them so I can be the best I can be.”
Do you have any superstitions associated with your games?
“It’s not really a superstition but every game I wrap my wrist tape and draw a cross across it to show my faith.”
