How long have you been playing Golf?
“I have been going to the driving range with my dad since I was five years old, but I started playing when I was nine, so I have been playing consistently for eight years now.”
What other sports do you play at FHC?
“The only sport I play is golf, and I have been playing varsity golf all four years.”
What is your best memory from your time playing?
“When we traveled to Crystal Mountian for a golf tournament and spent the night playing Just Dance in our Airbnb.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“I think we have a great team this year. We work together very well and are always encouraging each other no matter how we play. We are all committed to getting better as individuals and as a team. We all have a great time when hanging out, but when it is time to put in the work, we are always focused.”
What are your individual goals for this year’s season?
Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?
“My dad is my biggest influence in my golf career. He has always been there to give me tips and help me through any struggles I may come across. He is the one who got me interested in golf, and we still golf together as much as we can! He is always there to support me in my matches and has shown me the importance of hard work and perseverance.”
Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
“Lexi Thompson is my favorite professional golfer. I have been following her since I started playing golf, and she is a great person. She is very down-to-earth and appreciative of her fans. Also, she is a great example of being persistent and always working hard for the kind of life that you want.”
