Continuing to outshine its competitors, the girls JV soccer team took home a win against one of its stronger competitors in the Lowell Red Arrows. With goals by Madi Evans along with Gretta Kriekard, the girls are extremely proud of all they accomplished at the game on Monday, April 5.
Coach John Blodgett is ecstatic with what the girls have done about halfway through the season.
“I feel really good about it; the defense has been really good all season, this is the fifth game that’s been a shut-out, so the defense has been incredible,” coach Blodgett said. “The offense is improving as well with two games tonight, along with the win being a factor.”
The season continues to fall into place with Addison Reuter being proud of her team for the connection it has created.
“I think we all work really well together; so, I think we are going to do really well against Lowell,” Addison said before the game.
Marking around the halfway point of the season, the girls’ next game is Wednesday, April 27, at 4:30 PM at Grand Rapids Christian.
“Overall as a team, the girls play really well together. As our offense gets more comfortable playing together, I expect our team to have a lot of success,” coach Blodgett said.
