What made you want to start swimming?

“When I moved to Michigan from Utah, I had nothing to do in the winter because the snowboarding is bad here compared to Utah.  My mom told me I should try it because my background in trampoline flips might help, and that is why I started.”

What is your favorite part of being on the swim team?

“My favorite part of being on the team is the friendships I have made along the way and spending time with people I actually enjoy.”

What’s one thing you won’t miss when you graduate and what is something you will miss?

“I won’t miss having to see opposing team coaches who hate us for no reason. I will miss the conference, regional, state, and MISCA meet because of how much fun they are and how many people I get to hang out with there.”

How do you plan to improve your skill in swimming?

“I am diving year-round; after high school season is over, I dive at a club, and at the end of summer, I am going to Missouri State to continue my athletic career.”

What’s something about you and swim that no one else knows about?

“It is a lot harder and more frustrating than you would think.”

What are three fun facts about you?

“I do not like noodles or pasta, I have met Post Malone, and I work at Subway.”
