After getting a few days of rest, the Rangers got back on the ice with a week filled with Muskegon opponents. First, the Rangers would have to face off with an in-conference game–a matchup with Mona Shores.

Junior Justin Baehr took the reigns in net for the night and faced a long evening of shots on goal; yet, Beahr remained as unfazed as possible. Facing 50 shots on the net, Beahr knocked away 47 of the 50, only allowing three goals on the night (.94 save percentage.) The Rangers only managed to put up 6 shots on the net in a slow-paced 3-0 Sailors victory.

“[Justin] played his best game as a Ranger and I expect him to maintain the focus he had in last night’s game to all practices and games moving forward,” head coach Bill McSween spoke. “He was our best player last night.”

The Rangers are 2-2 on the season and will face Reeths-Puffer on Saturday, December 4, at Patterson Ice Arena.
