This past Wednesday, the JV boys golf team had a match at Thornapple Pointe Golf Course. The Rangers came out on top led by freshman J Coe, Sophomore Adam Koval, and to top it off with the best score was freshman Brett Comiskey.
Sophomore Lorenzo Valdiserri shot a 68 with freshmen Lucas Stiles and Cam Svoboda shooting a 55 and 52 respectively. The high scores of the night were J Coe with a 48, Adam with a 49, and Brett leading the pack by shooting a 43.
“Having the season be almost halfway done makes us really focus in and I think that’s what contributed to me shooting one of my better scores,” J said when asked what the key to his success was. “I think anyone really is capable on this team of shooting in the 40s; we just have to stay consistent and keep doing what we’re doing and we’ll be successful.”
