How long have you been playing basketball?

“I have been playing basketball for 5 years.”

What other sports (if you play any) do you participate in at FHC?

“I don’t play any other sports.”

What is the best memory of your time playing basketball?

“My best memory of playing basketball was beating Byron Center this year by almost 20 after having lost to them my entire high school career.”

What are the strengths of this year’s team?

“The strength of our team this year is how close we all are. Our team is very close-knit and we all care for each other and are friends with one another.”

What are your individual goals for this season? 

“My goals for this year are to just have fun every single game since it is going to be my last year playing high school basketball.”

Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?

“The biggest influence in my athletic career is my parents because they always want what is best for me, so on the court, I strive to make them proud because of how supportive they are.”

What music do you listen to to get fired up for games?

“Before games, our team has a few selected songs we play before every single game which get us hype. This year the recurring songs have been Sticky and We Dem Boys.”

Do you have any superstitions associated with your games? 

“Before games I always have a cookie dough flavored Chobani flip yogurt and I always shave some sort of braid in my hair.”
