How long have you been playing hockey?
“I’ve been playing hockey since I was two years old.”
What other sports do you play at FHC?
“I play hockey and baseball.”
What is your best memory from your time playing hockey?
“My best memory was scoring in the regional final game against Mona Shores; the energy from the crowd and my teammates was unforgettable.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“I think our team’s biggest strength is our depth. We have a young group of guys, but everyone pulls their weight and contributes. We also have a lot of grit and hardworking players to work with this season. But we also have a lot of skilled players and good leaders on the team to get the boys rolling.”
What are your individual goals for this season?
“My individual goals are winning the state championship and getting the opportunity to be on the all-state and all-conference team again.”
Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?
“My biggest influence is definitely my dad. He was the reason I started playing hockey in the first place. Along with that, I owe all the opportunities in hockey I’ve been given to him: all the car rides to practice, never missing a game, and always being there for me.”
What music do you listen to to get fired up for games?
“Usually, if it’s a rivalry game, I’ll listen to rap, but more often than not, I’ll listen to calm music to help clear my head for the game.”
Do you have any superstitions associated with your games?
“Before I leave the locker room, I pray and thank the Lord. However, when I get on the ice, I stretch before I touch any puck the same way every game.”
