How long have you been playing volleyball?
“I started playing volleyball in 8th grade, so 5 years.”
What other sports do you play at FHC?
“I play basketball and lacrosse at FHC as well.”
What is your best memory from your time playing volleyball?
“Some of my best memories are big wins we’ve had over the year like when we beat Forest Hills Northern. I also love the team bonding things we’ve done like team camp at the beginning of this season.”
What are your individual goals for this season?
“My individual goals are to just make the most of every minute and every play because this is probably one of, if not, the last times I play volleyball.”
What is the best piece of advice a coach has given you?
“Some of the best advice a coach has given me is to always put the team above myself and also just keep looking ahead to the next play; don’t get hung up on mistakes.”
Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career, and why?
“My brother is probably the biggest influence on my sports career. We both grew up playing a lot of sports and love to watch each other succeed in whatever sport we are playing.”
What is your favorite class this year, and why?
“My favorite class this year is teacher cadet because I want to be a teacher, and the best part of my day is visiting my class at Pine Ridge.”
Who was your favorite teacher in elementary school?
“I had so many great teachers at Pine Ridge, but if I had to pick I would choose Mr. Kornoely, Mrs. Korhorn, or Mrs. Gerst. They were all so kind and encouraging as I grew up.”
