Coach Fredricks and her team of JV water polo players continue their season against another three teams. The team previously played East Kentwood, Hudsonville, and Jenison, in which they played pretty well to start the season. Here is a look back at games against Grandville, Zeeland East and Rockford High Schools.

The Rangers took on a pool that was combined with both varsity and JV Bulldogs and were defeated 8-11 by Grandville in the first of three games.

The next game was against the Chix of Zeeland East High School, which took place on April 11, in another home game of the season. The Rangers played well and brought home a much needed victory with a final score of 13-8.

Unfortunately, two days later, the team could not string together back-to-back wins in the following game as it fell to the Rams of Rockford High School 4-12.

The team showed spirit in the early portions of the schedule and will hopefully continue to show this as the season moves forward. The team plays many varsity teams throughout the season which is something that many of the JV teams do not do in other sports. But nonetheless, the team will play hard against these teams despite the disadvantages that they face.

The JV team will now set its sights on Mason High School.
