JV baseball finishes off sweep of Northview in a single match

The last game of the three-game series between the Northview Wildcats and FHC Rangers JV baseball teams was played on Wednesday in a single match that tipped in favor of the team in green. The Rangers have now extended their win streak to 14 games by picking up a 15-5 win in six innings.
On the mound, sophomore Sam Ardinger got the start and the win. Sophomore Peyton Price came in to relieve him for two innings, giving up 1 hit and striking out three batters. Offensively, the Rangers had five different batters with 2 RBIs. Freshmen Carson Custer, Mason McDonald, and Ty Hudkins, as well as sophomores Lucas Thompson and Sammy Mielock hit 2 RBIs. In addition, sophomore star Chase Robinson had a season-high 5 hits in today’s game while also bringing in 3 RBIs.
The Rangers are now 22-1 and will move on to a doubleheader on Friday against Kenowa Hills.
