JV baseball outclasses Northview in an offensive masterpiece

A new week started for a red-hot JV baseball team on Monday, and nothing new occurred for the Rangers. The Rangers faced off against the Northview Wildcats in a doubleheader and won both contests 13-3 and 11-2. Sophomores Justin Osterhouse and Chase Robinson provided the spark offensively; some new and old faces got time on the mound today.

Chase and Justin combined for 4 hits, including 3 doubles and 4 RBIs, while the rest of the team played to the level of them, securing the other 19 runs. On the mound, sophomores Calvin Balanda and Matthew Hotlgrieve got their first pitching action of the season, while freshman Carson Custer relieved them for the rest of the game.

The Rangers are now 21-1 and move on to a single with Northview on Wednesday and a doubleheader Friday against Kenowa Hills.
