How long have you been playing volleyball?
“I’ve been playing volleyball for 3, almost 4 years.”
What other sports do you play at FHC?
“I play club and school volleyball, so I do not participate in any other FHC sports.”
What is your best memory from your time playing volleyball?
“My favorite memory of playing volleyball was probably when my club team went 9-2 at AAU nationals in Florida this year.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“Regarding FHC and the JV’s strengths this year, I’d have to say Volleyball IQ. We’ve been improving and developing our offense and have been able to perform those plays in game extremely well.”
Who is your favorite professional athlete?
“One of my favorite players has to be Zoe Fleck and Laney Chobboy; their movement on the court is their biggest advantage to succeed on the court, and I strive to be just as quick and accurate on the court.”
What music do you listen to to get fired up for games?
“I used to play a lot of rap before games, songs like TH2DH and Get Jiggy were big songs I used to play, but now my biggest pregame song is Hot Wings by Rio.”
Who was your favorite teacher in elementary school?
“I think my favorite teacher in elementary school had to be Miss Stiles and Boles from my 6th-grade class.”
What are your individual goals for this season?
“I think my individual goals for this season are to really focus on getting more reps for club season, but also just practice on being more scrappy and really cleaning up movements and making sure I do the right thing on every ball.”
