How long have you been playing golf?
“I have been playing golf since I was 3 years old.”
What other sports (if you play any) are you involved in at FHC?
“I play basketball for FHC.”
What is your favorite aspect of playing golf?
“I love playing golf because one shot doesn’t determine your round, and it’s a good way to meet new people and enjoy the outdoors.”
What are your individual goals going into this season?
“My individual goals are to win a tournament (18-holes) and a jamboree (9-holes), as well as make it to states!”
What are your expectations for the team this year?
“Our expectations as a team this year are to advance to states and win! We have a great team, and I believe that we can do it!”
What athlete has had the most impact on you?
“Lexi Thompson has had a huge impact on me because she was a great golfer at a really young age and played at a high level, which has encouraged me to work hard to be the best I can be.”
What do you do to get pumped up before a match?
“Before a tournament, I always listen to some pump-up music, which gets me in the mood to play golf.”
Do you have any game day rituals?
“I always talk with my parents, my sister, or my grandparents before, which helps calm any nerves, but also gets me excited to play. For my warmup, I start with hitting at the range and then transition into chipping and putting.”
