“I have been playing since 8th grade, so about 4 years.”
What other sports do you play at FHC?
“I don’t play any other sports at FHC, just volleyball.”
What is your best memory from your time playing?
“One of my favorite memories from the school season was last year when we beat EGR during Districts. It was such a fun game to be a part of and will forever be one of my favorite memories.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“This year, our team has a lot of versatile players, which I think will play to our advantage. We also do a good job as a team, staying positive and working through adversity in a game.”
What are your individual goals for this season?
“My goals for this season consist of being a positive factor on the court as well as being more consistent. I am also always looking for a way to improve my hitting while I am at practice.”
Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?
“My biggest influence in my athletic career is my dad. He taught me the importance of the mental side of sports and how to love the game. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for him.”
What music do you listen to to get fired up for games?
“More recently, I have been listening to “How Fast” by Leon Thomas to get focused for games. However, I listen to many genres like rap and pop as well.”
Who is your favorite professional athlete?
“My favorite professional athlete would be Andi Jackson.”
