What other sports do you play at FHC?
“I play volleyball, run track, and play soccer.”
What is your favorite basketball memory?
“My favorite memory was last year in eighth grade finally beating Lowell at the end of the season with a great win.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“Our strengths this year would definitely be our connections and our basketball IQ.”
What are your goals for the season?
“My individual goals for this season are to become a better and smarter player along with my teammates and win the conference.”
Who are the biggest influences in your athletic career?
“Both of my parents help me with my athletic career, my mom more so helps with the mental IQ of the sport and what I could be doing better because she played at Hillsdale College for basketball and knows a lot about the sport. My dad very much helps me to succeed as an individual and is always giving me pointers, whether it’s a won or a lost game and talks to me about my aggressiveness and leadership.”
Who is your favorite professional athlete?
“I have favorite athletes for each sport, but when it comes to basketball I definitely love to watch Caitlyn Clarke. Her attitude and basketball IQ are always fun to watch and her awareness on the court is something I learn from her a lot as well.”
Why did you decide to start playing basketball?
“Well when I was younger I really only did it because my parents put me on the YMCA team, but as I got older I grew to love the competitiveness and the physical contact and being able to be aggressive and smart at the same time. I love this sport because I like to connect my IQ to something physical as well.”
