“I have been swimming competitively for three and a half years, and this year will be my fourth swim season with Forest Hills.”

What other sports do you play at FHC?

“Along with swimming, I am also on the JV water polo team.”

What is your best memory from your time swimming?

“I think my best memory from swim season is conference week. There are activities we do to prepare for the conference meet, and it really brings us together as a team.”

What are your individual goals for this season?

“My individual goals for this season are to hopefully drop 1.1 seconds in my 100-yard fly and drop 1.04 seconds in my 100-yard free.”

Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?

“I don’t have one main influence with my athletics. It’s a mix of upperclassmen, coaches, family, and friends, but I’d say that the upperclassmen are great people to look up to.”

Who is your favorite professional athlete?

“I don’t really follow or watch professional sports.”

What is your favorite class this year and why?

“My favorite classes this year are Clay and Sculpture with Ms. Stynes and English with Ms. Beckett. They’re both great teachers, and I enjoy how they teach the curriculum.”

Who was your favorite teacher in elementary school?

“My favorite teacher in elementary school was probably Mr. Kornoely in 3rd grade. He taught really well and was great at having engaging learning material with a fun personality.”
