“I have been swimming since I was six years old.”

What is your favorite memory throughout your years of swimming?

“My favorite memory would be winning the 400 free relay at conference my sophomore year. The relay also set a new team record.”

Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

“My favorite professional swimmer is Michael Phelps. He has shown great determination and has a strong character that makes him easy to cheer for and look up to throughout my years of swimming.”

What is something you are most proud of?

“I am most proud of finding success in both swimming and rowing. This success is not only in sports accomplishments but in the camaraderie and friendships I was able to build. From the two sports, I have made some of my strongest, lasting friendships.”

What is one thing you are going to miss about swimming?

“I will miss the team culture and hard-working atmosphere that pushed me to swim hard and develop discipline by balancing school and sports.”
