When did you start playing soccer, and why?
“I started playing soccer when I was three years old. It was one of those things where your parents were putting you in a sport as a child, and I ended up loving it. I always wanted to go back and play.”
Who has made some of the biggest influences on your soccer career?
“My parents did everything in their power for me to play and continue to get better. All of the coaches that I had throughout my career pushed me to my max.”
What are some of your favorite moments in your soccer career?
“In club soccer, I loved always getting to meet new girls that had the same goals as me. Everyone was so talented, and we got to work on our craft together. Going to nationals at the end of one of my seasons was an awesome experience. In high school soccer, my freshman year, we made it far in the playoffs, and it was such an awesome feeling when we kept advancing.”
Why did you choose the number 13?
“Freshman year, thirteen was one of my only options. I ended up having a great season in that jersey, so I chose the same one for my senior year.”
What games are you looking forward to the most this season?
“I am looking forward to starting the playoffs, playing against all of the different teams, and beating them most importantly. It always gets to be one of the best parts of the season because it gets so competitive.”
