Most recently, we saw the big shootout win over Bay City. How special was it to hit the game-winner?

It was special because that was our first shootout win as a team this year, and if it weren’t for Justin in the net, that win wouldn’t have been possible.”

With that being said, where did the celebration come from? Who has the best celebrations on the team?

“The celebration was kinda a joke from the video game Fortnite. Since we were down earlier in the game, when I scored that final shot in the shootout, I healed up with the bandages, just like in Fortnite.”

Who are some of the people that have helped you the most throughout your high school hockey career?

“Definitely my father and brother for sure; being able to get helpful information from both of them and learning under my brother has helped me a lot.”

What are you looking to accomplish with the rest of your high school career?

“I want to win out the rest of our conference games, and then I would love to see the boys and I make a run in the playoffs.”

What are your pregame routines and favorite things to do post-game to celebrate a win?

“Before each game, I tend to have some personal time for myself to help get me focused. It usually consists of me taping my stick, doing some stick handling, shooting, and rolling out my legs. After games, I always look forward to playing our song in the locker room and dancing around with the boys.”

What are you looking to do after high school?

“I am looking to play junior hockey in some sort of league. I don’t know exactly where I’ll go yet, but I’m excited for the next step in my hockey adventure.”
