How long have you been playing volleyball?

“I have played volleyball since 7th grade.”

What position do you play and what does that position do?

“I play DS (Defensive Specialist) which plays back row only and specializes in passing as well as right side, which is a hitting position on the outside of the court that hits the ball over the net.”

Do you have any superstitions or pre-game rituals that you do before your games?

“Not really.”

Do you play any other sports for FHC?

“I play softball in the spring and basketball in the winter.”

What’s been your favorite part about playing high school volleyball?

“I have loved meeting new people. Everyone on my team is so nice and it’s been so fun to get to know them all more.”

What are some strengths of the team this year?

“I think we work together really well, and a lot of our hitters are excellent so they can score us a lot of points.”

What are your individual goals for this season?

“I want to continue to work on hitting from the right side and developing my passing.”

What’s one of your favorite volleyball memories?

“One of my favorite memories is when I first made the seventh-grade volleyball team. We had such a fun group of girls and that was what originally sparked my interest in volleyball.”
