How long have you been running cross country?
“I’ve been running cross country since 7th grade, but I did Run For the Hills in 6th grade.”
What other sports do you play at FHC?
“I also run track in the spring.”
What is your best memory from your time running?
“My favorite memory was qualifying for the new balance nationals in the middle school two mile by meeting the standard by 0.4 seconds. I ran this time at 10:40.51 at the West Michigan Megastar Meet at the end of my eighth-grade track season. This time put me in the top 70 fastest middle schoolers for the 2 mile (3200m) in the nation that year.”
What are your strengths of this year’s team?
“Our strengths this year are that we have some of our fastest runners yet and we could potentially be conference champions. The last time we were was in the 80’s.”
What are your individual goals for this year’s season?
“My goal this season is to compete the best I can.”
Who’s the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?
“The biggest influence is myself because I always think I can do better than what I actually am and always want to strive for more.”
Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
“My favorite Professional athlete is Quincy Wilson because he shows that age doesn’t matter after winning the gold medal in the men’s 4×400 relay at the Paris 2024 Olympics at only 16 years old.”
What is your favorite class this year and why?
“My favorite class is French because it’s fun and I screw around a lot with other kids.”
