Top teams for NFL free agents

Top teams for NFL free agents

With the conclusion of the Super Bowl and the NFL season, the off-season has finally begun, which means the draft and free agency are coming up—which can help make or break teams for the up and upcoming year.

Top ten free agents

Number 1: Chris Jones
If I’m the Chiefs I am instantly resigning him, it’s a no-brainer. He single-handedly made the play to force the Niners to kick the field goal in the Super Bowl with his pressure in Purdy’s face. Also, he has been the most dominant D-line man in the NFL for a couple of years now and if you let him slide your defense will take a massive hit.

Number 2: Kirk Cousins
If I were the Vikings I would resign Kirk. With the weapons they have on offense, they need a QB that can throw them the ball. If I’m the Vikings I’m sitting with Kirk because why fix what isn’t broken? And he knows the team and offense so work on getting that defense better first before you change the QB.

Number 3: Josh Allen
The fact of the matter is the Jaguars do not have enough cap to keep their multiple free agents, and with that being said it’s not like they are right there for a Super Bowl in my opinion, and you already have some nice young defensive pieces. So if I’m them, I’m letting Josh Allen walk and if I’m the Vikings I’m trying to sign Josh Allen; your defense needs an elite player and has a lot of holes in it. I would jump on an elite young edge rusher to help create pressure on QBS next year. I think the Vikings especially because Kirk said he was willing to take a lower contract in terms of money because he just wants to be able to play.

Number 4: Tee Higgins
I just don’t see the Bengals resigning him, especially cause they have Tyler Boyd and Jamar Chase who get the job done and that means they don’t have to a couple of million for basically a third-string wide receiver. Now if I’m the Washington Commanders, I’m trying to get Tee. The reason is you’re drafting a QB to either take over right away or compete with Sam Howell and then my adding Tee Higgins with Terry Mclaurin would just make whatever QB be a lot better with another elite pass catcher out there.

Number 5: Michael Pittman
If I’m the Colts, I’m bringing him back. You have a very young QB in Anthony Richardson who is gonna need an elite receiver to throw to. Pittman had an excellent year and Gardner Minshew was throwing him the ball. I think that Pittman would help that offense move forward even more and make it even more dynamic. I think the Colts with bringing back Pittman, would have Anthony Richardson, Jonathon Taylor, and Josh Downs which would be a very elite and dynamic offense.

Number 6: L’Jarius Sneed
In my opinion, the Chiefs don’t really need to add anything. With their pick, they made it clear they are gonna draft a wide receiver. So with that being said you need to bring back Sneed. He was the corner one and had crucial plays all year long, especially in the postseason. Although money will be tight and they will have to reconstruct the offers they give for Chris Jones and anyone else, I do think it’s possible and I do think both players want to come back—especially cause they are on the new dynasty. I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to come back.

Number 7: Mike Evans
If I’m the Buccaneers I’m keeping him. Baker Mayfield played great and he reached another 1000-yard season, and he’s been a dominant force and has helped that offense every year he’s been there and I just don’t see a team reaching to get him, especially with the other free agent wide receivers. But the Buccaneers definitely will benefit because that offense was extremely dominant and they were very close to beating the Lions because of their offense. So if the Bucs wanna keep that offense moving you gotta bring back your best veteran wide receiver.

Number 8: Chase Young
The Niners should try and re-sign him, but if the money doesn’t work because their money is tight the Texans should try to target him. The Texans excelled—you have the QB of the future and an insanely dominant left end in Will Anderson and if you can add Chase Young who comes off the other side along with that dominant defense, to begin with, the Texans would be scary good and I think that could benefit them a lot.

Number 9: Brain Burns
Burns has proven himself to be a dominant solid edge for the Panthers for some years now. But with the Panthers in full rebuild mode and how they are focused on building a team around Bryce Young, it doesn’t make sense to spend millions on an edge when there are more vital positions in need. So with that being said, I think Burns’s talent would be best used on the Ravens. They have a decent amount of cap and they love dominant edge rushers, and since they have such a deep defense already that was a few snaps away from beating the Chiefs, adding an elite rusher like Burns would make the Ravens’ defense even scarier.

Number 10: Antoine Winfield
Winfield has helped the Buccaneers in many crucial moments including that Super Bowl—he was a top contributor. But with most of your team being veterans and the likelihood that they’re gonna keep Baker and Evans in free agency I could see them getting him. I think the Eagles would be a great landing spot. In my opinion, they could be a team to make a deep playoff run with that talented of a secondary.

We won’t officially know what happens with these players until free agency kicks off, but I truly believe we will see a lot of flipping with these top-end names that could make teams jump up for them. The draft will help them make that much-needed push for the next year and the playoffs as well.
