As Jaden Talley finishes his senior year, he is continuously working diligently on and off the field to prepare himself to be a student-athlete at the college level. Jaden has chosen to pursue his soccer career at Great Lakes Christian College, an up-and-coming NCCAA Division 2 program, where he will be playing goalkeeper.
How long have you been playing soccer?
“I started playing soccer when I was pretty young; this senior season was my eighth year playing.”
What made you want to play college soccer?
“I always had the goal of playing college soccer since I started. The biggest motivation was that I wanted to follow in my mom’s footsteps and play in college as well.”
Why did you end up choosing Great Lakes Christian College?
“I decided to choose Great Lakes Christian College because the coach and I had a great connection from the start. Also, I felt like it was the best choice for me because I would get the opportunity to start in my freshman year.”
What are you most excited for during your college career?
“I’m really looking forward to playing with my teammates because we’ve been able to connect nicely with each other, therefore I cant wait to play with them on the field.”
What will you miss the most from high school soccer?
“I’m definitely going to miss playing alongside the other seniors Matthew [Mahoney] and Mason [Corcoran].”
