“I love my two dogs (Enzo and Coco), I play soccer, and I hate storms.”

What made you want to start playing tennis?

Last year, I had a break in my soccer season so I thought tennis might be fun to try. So, I signed up to be on the JV team and learned how to play.”

What is your go-to meal before a match?

“[An] Uncrustable peanut butter and jelly.”

Who is your favorite professional athlete and why? 

“[Lionel] Messi: I love that he is known for being one of the best at his craft but is also one of the most humble people. I admire that. He also gives back to his community.”

What is your favorite part of being on the team?

“[It is] getting to meet new people and since I’m so new to the sport, everyone on the team has been so welcoming and has helped me learn. The team is pretty young this year, so getting to meet and be friends with the freshmen and sophomores is a fun time. Also, Mrs. Kushak brings the best snacks for matches!”
