What made you want to start playing tennis?

“I hated lacrosse and my mom said I needed to do a different sport.”

What is your go-to meal before a match?

“[It is] a strawberry Gatorade and dried mango.

Who is your favorite professional athlete and why? 

“Grigor Dimitrov because when he played Hubert Hurkacz and won in a tie-break, my teammates and I were together at an overnight tournament and we bonded over it.”

What is your favorite part of being on the team?

“My favorite part about my team is before warm-ups when we are all stretching and everyone is just cracking jokes. It’s a really positive atmosphere and it gets me ready to play my match.”
