In a scheduled game against Byron Center previously in the week, the game was 5-5 when none other than a darkness delay would put a pause in the play of the game. Nonetheless, last Friday would see the finish of game two for JV baseball as these two teams would wrap things up in seven innings. In the bottom of the 7th, a throwing error led to the Bulldogs getting the game-winning run and gave them a 6-5 victory.

Yet, the Rangers bounced right back in game three and kicked things off on the hill. Freshman Mason McDonald pitched a star-studded 6 innings with 2 hits allowed, no runs earned, and 8 batters struck out. McDonald also went 2-2 with an RBI, as sophomore Justin Osterhouse matched his performance by hitting 2-3 with an RBI. The Rangers went go on to win 4-0.

The Rangers are now 24-3 on the season and will wrap things up next week with a three-game series with their inner-district rival: Forest Hills Northern.
