Rugby is defeated 45-8 by the Grandville Bulldogs

The Forest Hills Rugby Deadheads faced off against the Rockford Rams on Thursday. The Deadheads ended up taking a 45-8 loss against one of the many powerhouses in West Michigan Rugby.

“The team has a lot of inexperience, but we are super competitive and we are full of determination,” head coach Brad Anderson said.

The team has lots of chemistry, but as the schedule gets deeper, the teams get tougher. The Deadheads put up a great fight; Cole Hysong put up big numbers with 20 tackles, Josiah Perdue had a penalty try for 3 points, and Quinn Wisely had a try as well.

The Rangers will be facing the top-tier Grandville Bulldogs on Wednesday, May 26 at 6:00 PM on the lower turf at Forest Hills Central High School.
