The first round of districts for the Forest Hills varsity water polo team saw the girls face a familiar opponent, the East Kentwood Falcons. This contest was a low-scoring affair, just like the last game between the two, and it also ended in favor of the Falcons. They went on to win the contest 8-2.

Junior Jessica Plantamura was not the problem; she had quite the day, going for 14 saves on 22 shots for a .64 save percentage. Junior Avery Verlinde scored one goal while also assisting senior Rachel Schenck on the last goal of her brilliant career.

Forest Hills ends its season 6-11 after an early playoff exit. Although they struggled for a majority of the season to play consistent water polo, they also had many high points throughout the season to be proud of.
