How long have you been playing volleyball?

“I have been playing volleyball since 3rd grade and hope to continue throughout high school!”

What position do you play, and what does that position do?

“I play outside (OH). The outside is one of your strongest front-row hitters, and they can play all the way around the court, meaning they can also play back-row depending on their skill level.”

Do you have any superstitions or pre-game rituals that you do before your games?

“Something I like to do before games is listen to music and relax to get in the right mental state.”

Do you play any other sports for FHC?

“Other sports I play are basketball and lacrosse.”

What’s been your favorite part about playing high school volleyball?

“My favorite part of playing volleyball this year is meeting new people and connecting more with other students.”

What are some strengths of the team this year?

“One strength of the freshman team this year is that we have a pretty strong front row.”

What are your individual goals for this season?

“My individual goal for this year is to get better at volleyball and figure out ways to work with volleyball and school so that I can be ready for my other sports later this year.”

What’s one of your favorite volleyball memories?

“My favorite memory from this season so far is our volleyball camp retreat and feeling fulfilled and happy when I’m on the court.”
