Throughout the years, there have been a lot of cool NHL designs and a tone of cool special anniversary concepts as well. But throughout all the jerseys that have been created, only a few stand out as the best.
Number 10: New York Islanders White Captain Highliner jersey
It’s a super cool concept with very flashy colors. It also uses the fisherman’s old Islanders logo, which in my opinion is way better than the new one. Their older color scheme for this jersey and logo is way better than they have now. This jersey is an all-time classic with one of the best color schemes.
Number 9: Ottawa Senators 1933 Jersey
An all-time classic sweater, they were long-sleeved with the stripes and the simple O. Back then the jerseys were simple and nice, but not too flashy just 2-3 colors and a simple logo. They fit the period of hockey very well, and since then they have just become absolute classics. There are such classics I doubt you can even find one anymore, and if you find one it is worth keeping.
Number 8: Los Angeles Kings Purple People Eaters
This jersey is one of my personal favorites, the jersey uses such a cool logo. The gold outline of the crown pops so well on the very nice shade of dark purple they use. This jersey definitely needs to be brought back more often for the Los Angeles Kings.
Number 7: Colorado Rockies Classic Jersey
The color scheme is unique. The nice dark blue is a very nice color, and it pairs well with the red and yellow stripes that you wouldn’t think would go well with the jerseys but they do. And the mountain with the Colorado C in the center complements it all very well and is the best Colorado jersey they have ever used.
Number 6: Quebec Nordiques Home Jersey
it is one of the best jerseys a team could ever do in terms of color. The Nordiques are no longer a franchise but when they were this was their coolest sweater. The fresh baby blue and white that everyone loves with their logo in the center makes for a very complete nice-looking jersey.
Number 5: Washington Capitals Orginal White Home Jersey
The USA-themed jersey was a very brilliant design with red white and blue. The Stars along the top also tie in with the jersey very well, with the nice Capitals spelling across the chest making for an all-time classic jersey for the Capitals.
Number 4: Vancouver Canucks Flying V Jersey Black
This jersey has no logo or anything, just a very unique assortment of colors that can’t help but attract your attention. The black, red, and yellow are completely unlike regular Canucks colors, and you can’t help but love these classics.
Number 3: Pittsburgh Penguins Winter Classic Baby Blue Jersey
The Penguins have made many cool designs of jerseys, but these flipped the script from their traditional black and yellow to a simple and effective cool baby blue jersey. The Penguins logo with a scarf in the middle really fits the winter classic theme which makes this classic loved by all.
Number 2: Winnipeg Jets Classic Blue Away Jersey
The blue with white and red stripes is a very flashy, out-there look, but it works very efficiently for the Jets as these jerseys are a buy. As they have a very smooth color scheme, and the old Jets logo through the middle ties it all together.
Number 1: Minnesota North Stars Green Away Jerseys:
The North Stars are no longer a team, it’s now the Minnesota Wild. But before they were no longer called the North Stars they used the Kelly green color that looks amazing on everything. The white stripes and the yellow-outlined jersey make everything pop. This is the best jersey and even though it is classic it would fit right in with the NHL right now and look very good.
