How long have you been playing soccer?
“I have been playing soccer for 12 years. My first experience with the game was when I was about two, and I was in Germany, and I wanted to join in with a group of kids playing there. I started playing recreationally a year or two later.”
What other sports do you play at FHC?
“Currently, I only play soccer at FHC, but that could change in the future.”
What is your best memory from your time playing soccer?
“My favorite memory from my soccer career so far was going 8-0 with my club team in the fall of 2021.”
Who is your favorite professional athlete?
“My favorite professional athlete is Jude Bellingham. He was on my favorite pro soccer team, Borussia Dortmund, for three years, and he is one of my role models at my position in center midfield.”
What music do you listen to to get fired up before games?
“Usually, I like to listen to some Kanye, Travis Scott, or Eminem. Specifically, I usually go to “All of the Lights” by Kanye West or “Lose Yourself” by Eminem to get hyped up pre-game.”
What are your individual goals for this year?
“Having a beneficial off-season, getting stronger and faster without any injuries, and having a very successful first season in Premier Soccer as my club team got moved up to Premier.”
Who is the biggest influence in your athletic career and why?
“The most significant influence in my athletic career is Noah Burr. He was a soccer team captain from the Class of 2023 and has been like a big brother to me. He has coached me and given me pointers on my game for as long as I have known him, and he has always cared for me as a person and a player. Coming into high school, he just inspired me to bring at least a small piece of him back into the program, and now I am back to playing the position he played for the team as well (CDM). Love you, Noah.”
What are the strengths of this year’s team?
“I think our team’s biggest strength this year is our team unity and chemistry. We have loads of talent all over the pitch, but no matter who is on the field or who the opponent is, we always seem like a team that is fighting for each other and playing like one body. Everybody gives everything for the team when they are on the field, and everybody wants to get better personally and see the team improve. I think if we can keep this chemistry and continue to grow on it, this group of players can be a very successful team over the next 2-3 years.”
