Brittney Probst

For senior Brittney Probst, the majority of her life has been spent on a soccer field. From the age of three to now, the sport has consumed her life and given her more opportunities than she can count. With the love for her sport continuing to grow, she will be taking her skills to the next level to play division one soccer at the University of Toledo.

What made you pick Toledo?

“I picked Toledo because I just really loved the coaches, their coaching style, and the program as a whole that they have there. The atmosphere on the campus is amazing, and when I went and visited, I knew it was the school I was meant to be at.”

What will you miss most from club soccer?

“Club soccer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have made so many of my best friends, and I will miss playing with the girls I have been playing with for so many years.”

When did you start playing soccer?

“I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. I have loved it ever since I was younger, and playing college soccer has always been a dream of mine.”

What excites you the most about playing at Toledo?

“I am most excited about meeting all the new people and making life-long friendships with the girls on my team. I am also very excited to play at the next level in soccer and learn more about the sport I love.”

What made you want to continue and play college soccer?

“I wanted to play soccer in college because I have been playing soccer for most of my life. I know a lot of people get tired of it, but personally, I have never been tired of playing soccer. Soccer is where I can stop thinking about what is going on in the rest of my life and just enjoy playing a sport that I love playing. I am so happy I get to continue playing it for the next four years.”

What will you be majoring in next year?

“I will be joining the Toledo nursing program next year. I have always wanted to be a pediatric nurse because I love children and have always been interested in medicine and the way the human body works.”
