Elisha Strawser
Elisha Strawser has been an integral piece of the girls varsity soccer team since her sophomore year as well as a part of her club team. Involved in the game from a very young age, she will continue her playing career at Indiana Wesleyan University next year.
How long have you been playing soccer?
“Well, I officially started playing organized soccer when I was 5 years old, but both my parents are soccer coaches so I was around the ball since I could walk.”
Why did you decide to play soccer in college?
“I knew I wanted to play in college since 7th grade because it’s what I love to do. My older brothers also played soccer in college, so I really wanted to continue the family tradition.”
Why did you choose Indiana Wesleyan?
“I chose Indiana Wesleyan because I love the school, the girls, and the coaches. It wasn’t like any other school I visited, and it just felt right to me.”
What are you most excited about during your college career?
“I am just excited for a new change and to continue to play the game I love.”
What are you going to miss most about high school soccer and club soccer?
“I am going to miss playing with my friends and the soccer community that I have been a part of for so long.”
