What are three fun facts about you?

“I’ve played travel basketball and softball since I was seven, I have a 3.9 GPA, and hockey is my favorite sport to watch.”

What made you want to start playing this sport?

“When I was little, all of my friends started playing basketball for the YMCA teams together, so I joined and enjoyed being able to play with my friends and eventually loved playing the sport itself because of how aggressive I learned to play from my coaches.”

What is your go-to meal before a game?

“I usually eat pasta the night before a game, and then right before the game, I will sometimes eat a caesar salad and drink a Monster.”

Who is your favorite professional athlete, and why?

“Gordie Howe, because I grew up in a hockey family and learned about all these hockey players from my brothers and Dad. He [Howe] always was an aggressive player, and I always wanted to match his level of effort in a game.”

What is your favorite part of being on the team?

“I enjoy my team’s environment since it increases my confidence, and I love the chemistry between all of the girls—on and off the court. We’re all able to have a great time together and make ourselves die of laughter constantly, and it really helps our gameplay that we like each other off the court too.”
